Race Day Itinerary:
6:30 - 7:45 a.m. Registration
7:00 - 11:00 a.m. Dog and Vendor Expo
8:00 a.m. 5K Run
8:30 a.m. 1-Mile Run/Walk
9:00 a.m. Awards Ceremony and Door Prizes!
 

Awards:

1 Mile
All children who complete the 1-mile event will receive a medal

Awards for top three male and female finishers

5 K
Awards for the 5K will be given in the following categories:

Trophies for overall male and female plus trophies to the first masters / grandmasters male & female

Top three finishers, male and female, in each of the following age groups will receive awards:

8 and under,
9 - 10, 11- 12, 13 - 14, 15 - 18, 19 - 24,
25 - 29, 30 - 34, 35 - 39, 40 - 44, 45 - 49,
50 - 54, 55 - 59, 60 - 64, 65 - 69,
70 and over.


Dog Adopt-a-thon
Many rescue groups will have dogs available for adoption, from poodles to great Danes. Bring the family (even if you don’t run). You’ll be helping raise awareness and money for a persistent problem—unwanted and abandoned dogs.

These groups have been invited to have their dogs at the Expo and are eager to help you find that special pet:

Safety Rules For Pet Owners:
All dogs must be on a leash at all times (no extend-a-leashes)
No females in season (in heat)
All dogs must have current rabies vaccinations
No aggressive dogs
Dogs will be allowed to participate in the 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk only

DIRECTIONS
Take Highway 121, 114 or 26 to Main Street, Grapevine Drive North through historic downtown. Turn left on Northwest Hwy. and Drive 1/2 mile. Turn Right at PDQ on Dove Road Drive North 2 miles. Turn right at the Oak Grove Loop North road (we will have signs posted here) just before the road hump/crosswalk. Go about 1/2 mile. The race site is in the Trawick Pavillion near the far east soccer fields.
